Mike Chappell.

What is your favourite item on the menu? Buttermilk chicken either as a burrito or a burger – especially the spicy Norfolk honey glaze.

What’s your favourite song to make coffee to? Bat Out Of Hell, Meatloaf (full length version).

If you had to be an animal, what would you be and why? Whale Shark or Manta Ray. Very gracious and fab to be around.

What’s your work background? Very varied from a trained diamond setter to Broker in the city of London. Basically I’m an entrepreneur.

What do you like most about working at the Apiary? The Apiary is a family and everyone who works with me treats the business with almost as much passion as I do.

What’s your favourite Apiary food? I don’t have one favourite but from the sweet side it would have to be the Salted Caramel Shortjack and on the savoury, a good old fashioned Bacon Bap.

What’s your favourite Apiary drink? There is no choice on this one: Flat White – the coffee person’s choice – strong enough to wake you up and short enough not to get cold.

What’s your favourite Apiary cake? Lemon Drizzle, all day long.

What do you love about Harleston? Harleston is full of independent businesses making it a place you can get just about anything without having to leave the town. We have some great characters that make the town special and the free parking is a bonus.

What’s your favourite plant? The traditional Bluebell it is the sign of spring/summer has arrived and we can now get into those shorts and enjoy the longer days.

What is your favourite item on the menu? Good ol’ jacket potato or pork burrito for street food.

If you had to be an animal, what would you be and why? Koala Bear or Panda. They look cuddly, and everyone loves a hug.

What’s your work background? When I left school I worked in estate agency and then had my family.

What do you like most about working at the Apiary? I love the apiary because we are a family and I love being a team member.

What’s your favourite Apiary drink? Hot Chocolate

What’s your favourite Apiary cake? Bakewell Slice.

What do you love about Harleston? I have basically lived here all my life, the town has everything we need and is very friendly.

What’s your favourite plant? Hydrangea.

Georgia Bell.

What is your favourite item on the menu? My favourite item on the menu has definitely got to be the jaffles. And obviously burritos.

What’s your favourite song to make coffee to? Death Bed by Powfu. Lovely calm tune.

If you had to be an animal, what would you be and why? If I had to be an animal it would be a giraffe.  Always been my favourite since a very young age. I think they are a beautiful animal.

What’s your work background? I have been a chef for the past 5 years. Before that I was in retail.

What do you like most about working at the Apiary? It’s a lovely atmosphere – all of the staff are very welcoming and easy to get along with. It’s a very chill place to work.

What’s your favourite Apiary food? Our homemade soups on a cold, wintery day but I love all of the items we sell.

What’s your favourite Apiary drink? A nice iced coffee but then I do love a latte.

What’s your favourite Apiary cake? the maple slice it’s just me all over 🙂

What do you love about Harleston? I love Harleston because it’s always been my home since I was born and I just think it’s a nice small town to be living in.

What’s your favourite plant? My favourite plant has and always will be a tulip. Absolutely beautiful flowers

If you had to be an animal, what would you be and why? A butterfly, as they are completely free and I’d love to fly.

What’s your work background? This is my first job.

What do you like most about working at the Apiary? The friendly & communal environment. There’s always fun to be had during a shift.

If you had to be an animal, what would you be and why? A monkey because they’re cheeky.

What’s your work background? Minimal work experience prior to the Apiary, however a hard worker that is always willing to progress in all aspects of the job and always happy to help others.

What do you like most about working at the Apiary? The people you are surrounded by really play a huge role in your work experience, so my work colleagues and regular customers are definitely key to enjoying my time whilst working.
