The best way to cook this in our opinion is blanched in boiling water for 5 minutes and added to a cheese sauce made from 50g salted butter, 50g plain flour, 500g of semi skimmed milk and 50g of Red Leicester/Cheddar Cheese – all available from The Apiary Grocer website – and then baked in the oven for approx 30 minutes.

If you want to go even further, add smoked streaky bacon for that extra bit of indulgence, we can source the meat from Browns Butchers just leave us a note at the checkout and we will add it to your bill later.
